Joan Prather is an American actress who is best known for her roles in film and television during the 1970s. She was born on October 17, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. Prather began her acting career in the late 1960s, making appearances on popular TV shows such as "Bewitched," "The Brady Bunch," and "The Partridge Family."
She gained wider recognition for her role as Nikki Witt in the 1972 film "The Single Girls." Prather also starred in films like "The Reivers" (1969), "The Way We Were" (1973), and "Dirty O'Neil" (1974).
In addition to her film and television roles, Prather also appeared on Broadway in the musical "A Minor Adjustment" in 1967. She later went on to perform in regional theater productions and continued to make occasional television appearances.
Prather currently resides in Los Angeles, California and has largely retired from acting.
